 | Prof. Haruo KobayashiGunma University, JapanHaruo Kobayashi is Professor Emeritus at the Division of Electronics and Informatics, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Gunma University, Japan. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Tokyo, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Waseda University. He worked at Yokogawa Electric Corporation for instrument and mini‑supercomputer R&D, and joined Gunma University in 1997 as Associate Professor and later Full Professor. His research interests cover analog/mixed‑signal integrated‑circuit design and testing, signal‑processing algorithms and power‑conversion circuits. He has published over 160 journal papers and 450 conference papers, supervised 20 Ph.D. and more than 160 M.S. students, and received the Yokoyama Award in Science and Technology. He is an IEEE Senior Member, as well as a member of IEICE and IEEJ, and has been actively engaged in international conferences on integrated circuits and testing. |
| Prof. Bing ChenHunan University of Science and Technology, ChinaBing Chen is a Professor and PhD supervisor, as well as Vice‑Dean at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Hunan University of Science and Technology. He is a Xiangjiang Scholar (Top‑Tier Talent Category I) of HNUST and Class‑D high‑level talent of Xiangtan City. He received his Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2016. His research interests focus on ultra‑precision grinding and process control for aspheric and free‑form surfaces, laser‑assisted hybrid precision machining of C/SiC composites, and intelligent sawing control systems. He has presided over two NSFC projects, several provincial natural science funds and multiple industry‑university cooperation projects. He has published more than 40 papers as the first or corresponding author, among which over 30 are indexed by SCI/EI. He has won the Special‑class and Second‑class Hunan Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Awards. He serves as a reviewer for many renowned international journals such as *International Journal of Mechanical Sciences* and *Tribology International*, and supervises master and doctoral students in precision manufacturing. |
